WHEN:

Tuesday, Aug. 6, 6 p.m.

WHERE:

Selvoski Field, County Road, Bedford

WHAT:

Held each year on the first Tuesday in August, National Night Out is a nationwide campaign designed to strengthen the relationship between public safety officials and the residents they serve in order to foster partnerships and make communities safer.

National Night Out is family-friendly and free to attend and interact with police officers and firefighters and tour emergency vehicles that will be parked on-site.

The police and fire department softball game will begin at 6 p.m.

“This event is an opportunity for people to ask questions and learn about what first responders do,” Chief Bryfonski said. “Our department enjoys celebrating this event and encouraging community connections and we hope residents will come out to join us.”
