WHEN:

Tuesday, August 2 at 6 p.m.

WHERE:

Mary E. Selvoski Field, 20 County Road (Softball Game)
Bedford Memorial Town Pool, 20 County Road (WZID Block Party)

WHO:

  • Bedford police officers
  • Bedford firefighters
  • Bedford residents
  • 95.7 FM WZID Radio

WHAT:

Residents throughout Bedford are invited to join 38.3 million people in over 16 thousand communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide for National Night Out. This event is nationally sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, ADT Security Systems, Nextdoor, Associa, and sponsored locally by the Bedford Police Department.

Neighbors throughout Bedford and across the nation are asked to come outside, turn on their front porch lights and spend the evening with residents and members of law enforcement. Most cities and towns celebrate National Night Out by hosting block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and other various community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel and exhibits.

For information on setting up a block party in your own neighborhood, contact Officer Danielle Nightingale at 603-472-5113 or dnightingale@bedfordnh.org.
